No Snow is Gonna Hold Us Back!

What a snowstorm! Although many of you had off, perhaps creating snow sculptures, or just digging yourself out from beneath the mounds that accumulated- over at Crossroads we were still rehearsing for "Through the Night" which opens TONIGHT! (yes, the show is till on as well).

Unfortunately, we were supposed to have the Three Doctors organization come show their support tonight, but due to the weather have canceled on their end. We hope to reschedule with them at some point during the run, but wont know until later this afternoon. (Don't worry- we'll let you know, as soon as we know)

As far as our plans for this evening- we'd still like as many people to come out tonight if you can. Instead of our regular Student Rush- we are now offering our Blizzard Buddies special. This entails 2 tix for $10 ($5 per tix- ridiculously amazing deal!) You must bring your "Blizzard Buddy" in order to receive the special (we're not selling individual tickets at $5 each...you get the idea) The deal lasts for the ENTIRE weekend, so if you need last minute Valentine's Day plans- this is perfect! (plus on Valentine's Day FREE CHOCOLATES mmm!)

Membership v, Subscription; in with the new?

Now that we have entered the technological world of blogging (and are still very happy about it!) it's time to start sharing with all of our reads what's been going on behind the scenes. The master minds behind everything that happens here at Crossroads (yes, we do flatter ourselves every now and then) have made some big changes this past season. Most recently, we have introduced our new Membership Program, as opposed to our old Subscriptions. We discovered, that over the years the subscriptions were just falling flat and we needed a change!

They way the subscriptions worked was that an individual would pay on flat rate-upfront- for one ticket per show for the entire season. Then, that individual would choose which night (opening night for example) and would have to attend every opening night for each show- or would lose their ticket.

There seemed to be a lot of frustration over the years that have built up around this concept. People lacked the freedom of which nights they wanted to see a show in April when it was still September. Planning that far in advance was not working with the average audience member, as their day to day lives sometimes interfered with planning that far in advance. Also, there was the small issue that if, lets say, a married couple wanted to go to a show together, each individually would have to purchase a subscription.

To make things easier, and to satisfy so many of those who've been coming to Crossroads for now 30 years, we came up with a new program; memberships.

With these memberships an individual pays a $50 one time fee- and gets up to 4 tickets at 50% off. You can use all FOUR tickets on one show, or split them two and two, or 3 and 1- whatever your heart desires...AND there is no scheduling upfront (say months before the show) so now, one has the freedom to choose what day she would like to go see the performance as it comes up.
In addition, one can choose up to an additional 4 tickets at 25% off, free tickets to our Genesis Festival in the Spring, and of course- exchange privileges. Wow.

As an additional piece of information, some restaurants in the surrounding New Brunswick area, such as Delta's also offer up to %20 when you purchase one of our memberships. Dinner and a show anyone?



We're thinking this might actually work. Admittedly, we've lost some of our loyal fans over the course of many years due to just noting wanting to put the effort into the subscriptions. Lately however, we've been receiving calls from those who had dropped their subscription in the past, and are starting over fresh with the membership! We must say, that we are so happy for all the returning fans, and we thank you for spending another season with us!
